Painted Creations is the mastermind of Michelle Edwards who’s main areas of interest are Kids Art, Murals + Painted Furniture. She just loves to bring the magical world of cartoon to life. She can paint your kids favourite cartoon on canvas or design a beautiful mural for your kids nursery.
Michelle got in touch with me from a previous client who was very happy with the logo project I completed for them. After chatting to Michelle about what she did and what she wanted it was clear about the type of design required for her new logo/branding.
As an artist who uses paint as her medium it only felt right to use a painted effect in the design. Also her work is mainly associated with kids so the next stage was to find something that symbolised kids. Light bulb moment – PAINT + KIDS = HAND PRINT IN PAINT :)
The final design shows a kids hand print with drip effect center of a painted circle of various colours of paint. The colours were carefully selected to suit the design and a version for each colour rendered for diversity.
A nice kid friendly font was chosen to finalise the design.
